Rated 1 out of 5 by burdman from both 15 and 30lb line kept breaking on hook set I am an avid fisherman in South Florida. After years of friends telling me the virtues of braided I decided to finally try it. I picked up Spiderwire EZ braid in 15 and 30lb for my baitcasters. I must say I am very disappointed. Both have broken at hook set and even while casting. I have tried Palomar and Improved Clinch thinking it was me. It doesnt matter which knot I tie they both have been below acceptable in performance. I have lost top water lures, shallow water cranks and swim baits. not counting the expensive Gamakatsu hooks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacob from Extremely stong and lightweight I love using the spiderwire EZBraid. It is so light I can cast 80 yards with 50lb test. I love the 50lb test EZbraid because of its immense strength. Most lines (fluorocarbon, monofilament, and braid) I can pull with my hands and it will eventually break. Not spiderwire's EZBraid it is the strongest line I have ever used!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mnbassman007 from great product I have tried all sorts of different types of braided line until I came to spiderwire. I will never buy a different brand. The lack of memory that the line has is great as it cuts down on other products needed. You can get a small nick in the line and it will not damage integrity of the line. Also the line is priced right for the angler on a budget.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NateG01 from Breaks too Easily I bought this line to use on a bait caster for pulling bottom bouncers for walleye. Had a nice bite, set the hook and the line snapped. Thought maybe I tied a weak knot so I retied it using a different knot. Had another nice bite, set the hook and the line snapped again! It was apparent that the line snapped at the end of my rod. Maybe my rod tip is too rough, but the line shouldn't snap this easily! Thought I would save money buying the EZ braid instead of the Stealth, but now I will be taking all this line out of my reel and using Stealth instead. Save yourself the trouble and spend a few extra bucks to get the Stealth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jfvineyardjr from Worst braid I have eve used I have never been so disappointed. I bought a roll of 15# at Walmart while on vacation cause I needed it in a pinch. Well line would snap every time on long hard cast and i have now lost 3 times the cost of braid in lures and twice great looking bass snapped off. I was do frustrated the first time i pulled all the line off and restoring it short only to continued wig sane issues. I really wish they had some kind of warranty cause I am put no only braid but lures as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex M from Easy to cast smooth and strong. I am writing this review because there is a lot of confusion about braided line. I have EZ braid 200 mm 20 pounds test on Shimano surf spinning reel. The line is better then PowerPRO super slick 8. Ez Braid is more stiff less flexible this prevents the line to get tangle up by the wind or when you let slack for a lure. Also the line doesn't get soft from the water it remains the same as when it is dry. The line dose not dig in when you retrieve under tention. It is a good product on a good price. In general braided line is not really abrasion resistant it simply to tine. I use 14 or 25 pound mono line for a leader and for my weight i use steel wire . I also use swivel on the hook and on the weight just in case. I hope this helps.
