Rated 5 out of 5 by chewonthis from Great Visibility - Great SpiderWire Quality I have been using this line for quite a few months now. So far, catch rate has greatly increased due to the ability for me to see the line "kick", even in dark, gloomy weather. If you dip your rod tip 4 - 6 inches into the water, you will see with great amazement, the line "disappearing" and becoming totally invisible after a mere 6 inches underwater. I have had so many fish "bumping" into my line while luring. Strength wise, this line is definitely a tough one. I am using the 6lb on spinning and 10lbs on baitcasters. Both are very tough against abrasion, which is very important if you are fishing near rocky edges. Line diameter is a bit on the thicker side, thus, if you are doing finesse fishing with shallow spool reels, you will not be able to load more lines.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JosephAH from Feels slick. Casts well. I used 30# test and compared it to regular PP 30#. I cannot tell much of a difference in casting. So I'd say the lines are pretty similar. I like the wax coating and 8 strand weave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OKCRhoads from Not bad stuff! This line is one of my favorite out of all the braid spider wire offers. I use the line for Catfishing and find it sensitive and strong and I haven't had any breakage issues as often heard. The big plus for me is Its thin diameter makes which casting easy and has like that of fluorocarbon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pd1958 from This line is a joke...breaks very easy!!! I bought a small spool (hard to locate) to confirm it glows under a blacklight. Glowed fine. I proceeded to buy 50# 1500 yd spool. First night out, the line broke 3 times on the hookset (bass). Lost $25.00 worth of lures PLUS the fish!! Spider Web defines this line better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sensei from Great touch This spider wire is awesome, I bought it thinking well this is not what they said it was but I have to say being able to see my line and as well as feel every little thing I was bringing my jig or worm through was just amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jackie88 from total disappointment I purchased this item last week and I decided to change my line again already! The line frayed and broke multiple times without being hung up on anything... My knots never came undone. I have no clue why anyone would want to use this for bass maybe bluegill if your lucky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Donnie Boy from Love that Glow-Vis I use Glow-Vis for almost all my surf fishing. The main reason is, I can see my line easily and the braid also gives me very good sensitivity when I have a bite. I often fish up very close to the shore (called fishing in the curl or wash, where the fish really hang out) and sometimes my line actually lays on the sand. It seems to be very abrasion resistant even after coming across the sand many times. I really can't compare "my" SpiderWire to any other line because I've never bought another brand. Why change when you are so happy with what you're using. I could write a book about my SpiderWire use but that's another story. I will say this much though, I've got appx. thirty rod and Reels, and SpiderWire is spooled on all but five of them. Just a hint for anyone that wants to save money on their line. When my SpiderWire starts to get warn to the point that I don't want to use it anymore, if there's plenty of line on the spool, I simply take if off and reverse it and put the used part on the inside of the spool because that part never gets used anyway, thus, practically new line is on the business end. I also use the cheaper mono for a backing on almost all my reels.
